Community

We believe that an important part about being a responsible business consists in giving back to the communities who share our values. In our case, an IT business, we support in different ways the local and global Free Software community.

• John and Daniel founded the Free Software User Group in Córdoba. Several of our team members also participate in this group. We also have presence in PyAr (Python Users - Argentina).
• Except has been present at most of the local and regional Free Software events and conferences. People in our team have traveled as speakers and participants there. In this way, they share their knowledge with a wider group of people, allowing them to grow personally and professionally, and making the community grow at the same time.
• Some members of Except help as volunteers in Free Software Projects. Our company values having employees personally involved in Free Software development.
• Except frequently contributes code to Free Software projects. This includes modifications and patches to existing projects and our own free projects.
